Here at Ironside, we believe that the home inspection process should focus on every detail. We take pride in offering one of the most complete home inspection services in Colorado.

Certifications acquired through home inspector training from InterNACHI

No matter what your questions are, we have answers. If you have questions you can’t find answers to here, just give us a call or drop us a line and we’d be happy to share our knowledge!

An Ironside home inspection cost varies based upon square footage, age of the home, and any additional items that need inspected, such as a swimming pool, spa, well, septic, or a wood destroying insect report (termite inspection).  We believe you will find your Ironside home inspection and report invaluable to your home buying process.

Your inspection should be scheduled as soon as possible after you enter into a contract to buy a home and you are in your contract option period, which usually ranges anywhere from 5 to 10 days depending on the market. Once you receive your detailed inspection report with lots of photos and comments from Ironside on the same day as the inspection, you and your real estate agent can review it to give you peace of mind about the condition of the home.

We have made it extremely easy for you and the best way to schedule your home inspection is to give our friendly office a call, send us an email or use the appointment form.

Once you have confirmed your home inspection with our office, you will get an email confirmation with a link where you can securely pay online on your phone or computer with a credit card. We also accept cash, checks, or credit cards at the time of the inspection for your convenience.

Our office staff will schedule your inspection through the Inspection Services Network (ISN) and they will provide the required access Information to us and notify the seller and listing agent as needed.  Most homes for sale are listed with ISN and this takes care of about 90% of the homes we inspect.  All of our inspectors are equipped with the right kind of key, like real estate agents have, so we can get into homes that have a lockbox.  If we need to call the listing agent, homeowner, property manager, builders representative salesperson for new homes, or any other party to gain access, we will do that as well because that’s part of the service we provide, so you don’t have to worry about it.

Neither of you have to be at the inspection, however, either are welcome to attend the inspection in part or in whole at any time. If you are planning on attending, we request you at least attend the last half hour or so and your inspector will go over the findings of the inspection with you and answer any questions you may have.  This gives your inspector the time needed to focus on doing a detailed, thorough inspection of the home for you without distraction.

Even if you are not able to attend the inspection, you will get your report emailed to you the same day and you may always call our office if you have any questions.

Home buyers and real estate agents love our inspection reports as they are detailed and easy to read. Your detailed inspection report with lots of photos and comments will be emailed to you and your real estate agent the same day as the inspection.  Your inspection report from Ironside will be easy to read with pictures right beside most every comment and there will be a summary at the end with all of the comments in the report grouped together by safety, repair, improve, and monitor recommendations.

Yes all of our inspectors are licensed and have completed a grueling course of study on home building systems and construction and are personally trained by the Chief Inspector and owner Paul Farlett CPO (USN ret.).  Our inspectors also attend monthly training as well as attend annual conferences and other trainings. Rest assured, your inspector is licensed, insured, and experienced to provide you peace of mind with a quality home inspection.
